The rooms are HUGE! Apart from the King sized bed, you\u2019ll also enjoy a living area, a dining table and a private balcony that has a mini living area and a deck chair. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don\u2019t even get us started on the bathroom, it had a roomy standing shower and a bathtub, plus double sinks. And for all the girls out there, we know how hair ties just miraculously vanish. They even provide hair ties as part of their amenities sets! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They also have a Nespresso machine with capsules that you can use (free coffee!) as well as complimentary welcome snacks which were a nice touch to the room. Grab your snacks and drinks and head out to the balcony that overlooks the pool and just relax. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019re heading here with your family, the room is big enough for an extra bed (complimentary for children 0-11 years) and they even have cute child sized amenities including kid robes, bedroom slippers, toothbrush and even body soap! The squirrel is their mascot and if you\u2019re lucky you\u2019ll be able to spot plenty of squirrels around the hotel grounds. P.S. You CAN take home the squirrel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Massages are a must<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One of the must-dos on any vacation and one of the biggest reasons to choose the Shangri-La Hotel Singapore is Chi the Spa. Your room package comes with a 20% discount on the spa treatments and you definitely have to make use of it. You\u2019ll be asked to fill in a form with your problem areas and preferred strength level and also a scent you\u2019d prefer. We recommend the Signature Asian blend massage or the Hot Himalayan Salt Stone Massage. After your massage, you\u2019ll be taken to their lounge where light snacks and refreshments are served. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Cheers and cheers again <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When you\u2019re finally ready to head out of your rooms, head to their lobby lounge to redeem your complimentary cocktail! If you\u2019re looking for something more filling, you\u2019ll see plenty of girl squads having high tea. They also serve heritage delights like Laksa and Chilli Crab if you\u2019re extra hungry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Picnic outdoors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The one thing we were most excited about is definitely the picnic basket. Filled with sandwiches, cheese and crackers, drinks and even mini cakes, this was more than enough for 2 to share. There\u2019s a map in the basket indicating which spots around the hotel are best for picnics and if you prefer air-conditioning, you can also have your picnic in the room. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

#KlookTip<\/strong>: Head into The Waterfall restaurant by the pool and pick up a bottle of wine to jazz up your picnic basket. I found my favourite Chianti Classico wine which paired really well with the cheese and crackers that were provided in the basket. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Go chasing waterfalls<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Shangri-La is truly a lush green sanctuary away from the city. In fact, #plantgoals. They have beautiful greenery tucked away in every corner, making for plenty of photo ops as well! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If this isn\u2019t a mini rainforest, we don\u2019t know what else to call it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. It\u2019s time for a suntan!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

No vacation is complete without pool time. If you don\u2019t want to get wet, there are plenty of sunbeds for you to get your tan on. Order some fries and juices from the pool bar and you\u2019re all set for the afternoon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For parents with little kids, they have lifeguards on duty and even mini life jackets in case they need a boost of confidence while swimming. During this period, there are pool capacities and safe distancing measures practiced to ensure that you can enjoy your pool time safely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s also a Splash Zone with 6 different water themed activities like a pirate ship, slides and more that children will definitely enjoy.
